Devil`s Tor is within Merrivale Firing Range. You must check the Range Firing Notice on www.dartmoor-ranges.co.uk
Do not enter on firing days or if you see red flags flying on range flag poles! Do not pick up any unidentified objects lying in the ranges.
Dartmoor needs to be taken seriously, please ensure you are equipped for a long walk & changeable weather.
On the other side of the tor you will see a standing stone known as "Beardown Man".
You are looking for a small screwtop container hidden a short distance from the tor. There is no room in the container for swaps.
