This is a traditional cache that I believe embodies the original spirit of Geocaching. There are no puzzles, no aimless walking around villages of questionable picturesque-ness collecting numbers and definitely no 35mm film pots.
It's a nice (up hill) walk to a location that has something to recommend it. In this case a fine view north over Bedfordshire and some of Hertfordshire. The cache, while listed as small, is a tab-lock type food box big enough for a log-book and a few swaps.
The cache is located on Noon Hill, one of the high points in the Pegsdon Hills. You may encounter some livestock grazing on the open pasture but they pose no threat and are used to walkers roaming over their territory.
Car parking is available at N51°57.536' W000°22.421'
