This particular cache has been placed on Stanton Moor on the edge of the Peak District near to the 9 ladies stone circle English Heritage site. The moor has been used for over 4000 years for agriculture, mining, living settlements and as a burial ground. Legend has it that the stone circle was created when 9 ladies and a fiddler were all turned to stone for dancing on the sabbath.
