Lower White Tor is situated to the north of Two Bridges and west of Postbridge. It lies outside of the military firing ranges so it can be reached at any time. The tor is on open access land so there are many possible routes to the cache. My suggestion would be to park at Two Bridges & follow the path north to Wistman`s Wood before climbing up to Longaford Tor. Continue along the high ground to the cache via High White Tor. This makes a very pleasant five mile round trip.
Ordnance Survey map "OL 28" is recommended for route planning in this area.
The cache is a "double layer" - (330ml pill pot inside a screw top beaker) to keep out Dartmoor`s notorious damp!
