Description EN

A medium sized cache (6"x8"x2.5" tupperware container) in a small park. Note The park is open during the day and locked at night.

PLEASE Do not leave any travel bugs outside the container. Do not use zip lock bags to increase the capacity of the container. The Corporation of London and the park gardeners are aware of this cache, however using extra bags may increase the likelihood of the cache being found by geomuggles and then being destroyed. Let's keep this cache safe for everyone.

Although Nick the gardener no longer works in this park, Jessex (and now purple_pineapple) would still like to thank him for helping with the establishment of the cache, thanks Nick!

Thanks to the many cachers throughout the world who helped make this cache the most visited one in the UK!

A tiny oasis opened in 1880, this stamp of a park is enveloped by the City. We hope you have a chance to recuperate from your day of caching in this pleasant environment. The location is between St. Paul's Cathedral and the Museum of London, an interesting area to explore. Bear in mind it is busy on weekday lunchtimes with the City folk (unless it's raining!).

The park was formerly a graveyard, stones of which remain around the sides. Don't miss the wall of Commemmoration of Heroic Sacrifice, an unusual and touching feature. One of the names on this wall is assumed by Natalie Portman in the film "Closer".

(Please return the cache as you found it so as to keep it well hidden - thank you.)

PLEASE NOTE: Since many Travel Items go in and out of this cache the owner must sometimes mark items missing. They can still be tracked via the Trackable Items page.
