This cache is located on a muddy footpath just outside the village of Tregony in mid Cornwall. The village dates back to the Norman era. In medieval times it was a thriving port, despite being about 15 miles from the sea. By the 16th century the upper reaches of the Fal river were starting to silt up and the area fell into decline.
There is a parking area by the bridge at N50` 15.953 W004` 55.113. Cross the road & follow the marked footpath.
You are looking for a 400ml screw-top container.
This cache was hidden in January 2009 and originally listed on terracaching.com before being moved to this site.
*NOTE - In Nov. 2011 a groundspeak cache was placed in the same hiding place as this one, so don`t just sign the first log you find! There is also a laminated Munzee tag hidden in the opencache, please remember to replace it if you scan it.
