Description EN
Small 35mm cache located at the entrance to the old Middlesbrough football club.

A small cache in the area of the old football ground. There is limited street-side parking in the area, you won't be able to see or grab this from your car, but it should be an easy, disabled friendly cache and grab for anyone who happens to be in the area. Plenty of people walk and drive along here all the time, so please be a little careful when caching!

Cache contains log book & pencil. Please put it back carefully and out of sight.

Middlesbrough played their last season here in 1995 before moving to the Riverside Stadium which also has it's own cache - Riverside Roar (GC1CAQB). The street names and the layout of the roads give good clues as to where everything used to be (the street "The Turnstiles" leads to "The Midfield"). There's nothing to see here now, it's just housing. For those that like their football memories if you do the nearby Dorman Museum cache (GC14KJQ) then to your left you can see a statue of Brian Clough walking to Ayresome Park in the local park, well worth a closer look.
