Beinn Eighe was Britain’s first nature reserve
and has many interesting natural and geological features. The visitor’s
centre is open from Easter to October but, if closed, there is a lot of
information at the notice boards including various booklets describing
the different trails.
Please remember that this is a nature reserve and, although you are
welcome to walk about, do so responsibly by not disturbing wildlife or
other people’s enjoyment of the area.
The cache is a magnetic nano in the lochside car park (Coille na
Glas-Leitir) which is about 2 miles from the Visitor’s centre car park
along the A832 towards Gairloch.
