The Lower
woods on Coppett Hill are a fine walk on their own especially so in
Bluebell time. The stile brings you on to the Wye valley walk near
Mainoaks. From here you can walk down below Symonds Yat rock and see the
peregrines.
This is a
delightful uneven path though a mixed woodland - my dog loves it. The
nearest official parking is in Goodrich or Coppett Hill Triangle, but
you may be able to park nr. Huntsham bridge and walk by the river.
Occasionally climbers us the rock outcrops above. Look for the white painted animal on one of the rocks.
The cache was set up for the Coppett Hill Geocaching festival - june 30th 2012 - and is on Coppett Hill Trust land
