Description EN
This cache is placed very close to my home. Chesterton Farm tracks and paths are popular with locals for walking. As our house backs on to the farm land I often walk Roxy our dog around the area. Roxy actually has her own cache along another path of the farm, but this is on gc.com GC2ZR9E.
Why am I placing a cache here? Good question. The farm buildings cross the fields from GZ are interesting to wander around, and there are a number of cow sheds which you can see get up close to see various cows of all ages. There is often a couple of donkeys in the field just up from the cache too. The farm also has a lovely shop which has been running since 1964. But these are not the reasons for placing the cache.
Without getting too political, the Cotswold District Council have published their intention to build 2500 house over this lovely farm land. As I said, I won’t get political and ask people to sign petitions etc, I understand that new houses have to be built, and they have to be put somewhere. My reason for placing the cache is simply to bring others to enjoy this open farm land whilst it is just that. I hope you enjoy walking here as I have done much of my life.
