You are looking for a black taped, screw top container. It's not at the listed co-ordinates, but is 353 chains and a few links from the other end.
The cache is at N51 uv.w(d-a)b W000 xy.zhf, where abcd is the year he was born and efgh is the year he died.
This is not a cache and dash. You may believe you have found extremely convenient parking very close to the cache, but if you try to access it that way you will find your path blocked by a tall chain link fence. Park elsewhere and approach from the other side.
The cache is hidden in the remains of a tree, and completely covered with bark - please carefully replace the bark so it is hidden well when you leave.
