The purpose of the “Lest we forget….” series is to take a moment out of our busy lives to remember those who fell fighting for our country. This series, started by ‘Bearded Zombie’, is exclusive to Opencaching.uk
This memorial is made up of a Celtic cross on a stepped plinth. There are no names on this memorial, so in order to claim the cache, you must sign the log. The memorial is located on Tonbridge Road, in the Parish Church of Saint John the Baptist. You do not need to enter the church grounds to view the memorial or to find the cache.
It shouldn’t need reminding, but please be respectful while claiming this cache and take a moment to remember those who memorials such as this are dedicated to.
