I teamed up with Mr NSCR to get out on the moors and grab a few caches today. He chose the route and there were a few that I had already done and some which he had recently adopted. We both like an Open cache, so it was a varied day.

 

A relatively easy find.  Log book slightly damp, but to be expected after all these years.  I am sure it will last many more.

Making excellent progress today with this series of caches on Belstone Tor.  Sun coming out now and there seemed to be only one place this could be, so easily spotted without hint, tftc.  Now for the elusive Winter Tor which I failed to find on my first attempt.

A good view of the bend from up here while signing the log of another quickly found one.

I saw a few walkers in the valley below attempting to get across the river and it was quite amusing watching them. It is probably as low as it will get but they still wanted to get across without getting their laces wet. I'm not sure they managed it, I wandered off before they crossed, perhaps they're still tryingSmile.
