Visiting the UK mainly because of the John Barrowman concert tour. I arrived from my native Finland to London on Friday, October 15th, and travelled straight from the airport to Cardiff, where I met a friend of mine who came to the concert from Plymouth. We attended the concert at Cardiff International Arena on Saturday, October 16th and travelled the following morning to Bristol, where we attended another concert at Bristol Hippodrome on Sunday, October 17th. From there my friend returned home to Plymouth and I travelled to Liverpool in order to visit the Merseyside Maritime Museum. The next stop was Manchester, where I visited Imperial War Museum North before catching a train to Plymouth, where we attended one more John Barrowman concert at Plymouth Pavilions on Thursday, October 21st. As I still had one more week of holiday to spend, I decided to go on a museum tour: I visited RAF Cosford on October 23rd, IWM Duxford on October 24th, RAF Hendon on October 25th, Imperial War Museum (London) on October 26th and finally Southampton Maritime Museum on October 27th before returning home to Finland on October 28th.

So, in the Wednesday morning, October 27th, I took the 08:32 Southern train from London Victoria to Southampton Central, where it arrived at 11 a.m.. I first went to the Maritime Museum, which was much smaller than I expected, so I had several hours for other activities before heading back to London, as I had booked my return ticket to the Southern service leaving at 17:13. So I walked around the town and visited many of the Titanic related places there before heading back to the railway station. Holyrood Church was one of them, as I wanted to see the Titanic Memorial Fountain. As the church ruin looked rather interesting, I walked around it and took several photos, including one of the plaque in question.

I heard of the opencache.uk site first time in this January (2019), and now finally had the time to actually have a closer look at the caches. After noticing this church virtual cache, I located my photos of the October 2010 trip and found the photos of the church, including the plaque. I am therefore logging this cache as found on the date I visited Southampton nine years ago. Many thanks for the virtual cache!
