It's Heaven and Hell, oh no!
You've got to bleed for the dancer!
Look for the answer!
Fool, fool, fool!
||Please note: This cache is intended for responsible groups of adults only, in favourable conditions. Do not attempt it alone. It is strongly recommended that you avoid performing any of the stages of this cache when children are present as it might encourage them to copy your actions later and thereby endanger themselves and others. Special equipment is required. Please place your safety equipment foremost on your list.
If you are old enough to recall Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath performing this song in your youth, you are of similar age to the cache owner, who is anything but an athlete. If you play this track in your car as you approach the cache location, I trust it will assist your mental preparation for the challenge ahead. AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" would be a similarly appropriate alternative.
This cache is the sequel to our T5/D5 cache OK0045
"Heaven and Hell". The first two stages and the ammo box final are the same for both, except geocachers/navicachers will find a locked box inside the ammo box....they'll have to become OpenCachers if they want to open it!
This cache involves five stages, the first of which is at the published coordinates. Each stage leads to the next. The first three stages will require some preparation and varying equipment. Thus, an exploratory visit to each location, followed by a subsequent visit to complete the stage may entail four visits in total. The sites are however not widely dispersed so, depending on your time available after a completing a stage, you may combine it with your exploration of the next.
Our recommendation is that you tackle each stage either at dawn or preceding dusk, to minimise exposure to muggles. Either that, or have a cover story as part of your strategy!
This is foremost a strategy cache. Please bear in mind that your strategy, from the outset, must include replacement of each stage of the cache precisely as you found it. If you fail to replace any stage of the cache and need the owner's assistance, then your strategy has failed and you must log a "Did not find" for the cache, log a "Needs maintenance" record and leave the unreplaced gamepiece adjacent to the cache box at Quelm Bridge
cache (owner's "home" cache).
Contrary to initial perceptions, we do not advocate climbing at the first waypoint. This is not necessary. Use your brain, not your brawn.
Waypoints are encoded. Letters need to be replaced with digits as follows:

Please make your log entries as detailed and entertaining as possible, but no spoilers and no photos of the game pieces or locations please. If there is demand for it, we will create a password protected web site for successful cachers, where each team can provide a full and detailed account of their exploits and strategies with photos. If any team replicates my technique precisely, I will admit it.
ENJOY THE CACHE.
PS - The clues below are numbered for each stage, if you think they'll help!
