The cache is not at the above coordinates. You will need binoculars, a monocular or a camera with optical zoom to capture the last word on the cast iron sign across the water from the start co-ords. You will need this to log your visit to the cache itself.
The sign is a Nottingham Canal Company relic. Until recently there were two of these, the other was in better condition and more of it was readable. This one is very corroded and not many words are now readable.
You are on the banks of the Nottingham Canal and the River Leen. The River Leen was ducted into this section as part of the Nottingham flood relief works in the late 60's. The canal ran North from here towards Wollaton and the colliery there and south towards it's junction with the main canal in Lenton. The point where this junction was, the Leen has been piped under the main canal to continue it's journey to the Trent in Wilford.
Using the last word on the sign as your log password to log this cache, head to the final coords at:

Access is a short walk from the cycle/footpath. It can be slippery on here after rain or in winter so take care and don't attempt if you don't think you can do it safely.
There you may see the only remaining piece of stone canal edging on the towpath in this section. Watch out there as you may be visible from above!
