This cache is just off the Portreath to Devoran Tramway trail beside one of the lower tracks . It is possible to follow the cycle route all the way down to Devoran Quay, or right up to Portreath on the north coast.
A 1 litre lock and lock container hidden about 10m off the trail on public access land. Views of this area's mining history are all around, just back towards Poldice at the base of a clearly visible waste heap is an area for those interested in minerals. Arsenic was dug and refined in this valley until the second world war & still contaminates the streams. Please keep children and dogs away from the water!
Parking is available at Bissoe Cycle Hire - N50`13.880 W005`07.700. There is a parking fee unless you`re hiring bikes here. There is also a cafe at this spot.
