This cache is hidden beside a new bird reserve managed by the RSPB. There are several species of wetland bird already living or passing through the reserve. As the habitat develops, more are expected. There are owl boxes spread around the area.
Please do not attempt to access the cache via the quarry road, there is parking along Overcote Lane, Needingworth. The lakes are not open to the public, but there are plenty of vantage points to watch or photograph the birds.
