Monkeys' Castle is approx. 3km NW from cache site & is situated on the fringes of Whitchurch Down. All that remains to this day are some ruined walls. William Crossing thinks Monkeys' Castle is a corruption of Monks' Castle. This cache complies with the DNPA agreement for Geocaching.
