Old Oak at Red Rock
The approach to this cache is impassable from three hours before High Tide to three hours after High Tide. Please plan your visit accordingly. Tidal predictions
A small promontory on the north bank of the Teign estuary known as Red Rock has upon it an old oak tree. This spot provides excellent views of the Teign estuary.
The cache is an ammo box hidden on the steep bank by the side of the railway line. (No trespassing on the railway necessary).
On reaching the coordinates, the location of the cache should be obvious, so there's no hint for this cache.

Until 2009-10-11 this cache was listed on Terracaching, now archived on that site. Until it is replaced, the logbook will still reflect this TC.com legacy.
I checked on this cache recently - it had gone missing. I have replaced it with a (very small, almost micro) small container.
