Necronomicon Ex Mortis

Bound in human flesh and inked in blood, this ancient Sumerian text contained bizarre burial rights, funeral incantations, and demon resurrection passages; it was never meant for the world of the living. Legend has it that it was written by the Dark Ones and served as a passageway to the evil worlds beyond until it disappeared in the year 1300 AD.

You can download the Wherigo cartridge here: Necronomicon Ex Mortis

This Wherigo cache is homage to the 1981 cult-hit horror film, Evil Dead, where five friends become holed up in a remote cabin. They find a tome called the "Necronomicon" and a taped translation of the text. Once the tape is played, they unwittingly summon dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess them in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

To find the cache, you must first follow the instructions found at the start location.

A warning - the original Sumerian text, incantations and engravings have been used as part of this cache experience. As a result, it is not recommended for children.

Most importantly DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO READ FROM THE BOOK!
