Went for the opencaches in the areas we were letterboxing. Info noted, albeit, I think I missed one somewhere else ....

The only opencache found today on a walk after work. It took some finding, probably 20 minutes doing laps around the rocks. Eventually I spotted the container tucked away in a spot I had searched more than once. Bonus info noted in case I ever get to the final. TFTC

Better late than never.. that reminds me.. still have to search again for the bonus on this series. Cache in perfect order-many thanks (bonus info is clear on the inside of lid and logbook).

Unexpectedly I was on the moor today. My route took me past a few opencaches.  A nice addition to the day.

Great co ords and a quick find. I couldn't remember if this series should have bonus information,  burning couldn't find any.

Good co-ords led us straight to its hidey hole. Nobody around today - still Easter holidays for the children - I suppose all happy to be inside! Noted the numbers for later. Tftc

Found quickly on a late afternoon walk in the mist and drizzle, while having a push on this series of caches.

So after an early morning start and to make the most of the forcasted dry morning, Amberel and I set off for this with gusto.  Assuring me coords are spot on in Opencaching he fairly much went straight to it before we then went on to the Groundspeak cache, which incidentally took much more finding ☺️.    On our way back, he exclaimed profusely suddenly, alarmed I glanced at him and declined the option to head back to the camper and insisted instead to accompany him back to the Tor to retrieve his forgotten rucksack.  I was more than happy to as I really need to create more wriggle room in my recently acquired Crags.. (but that’s a different story.. )

For some reason that I can’t fully explain, I really like the short walk to Hart Tor. Which is just as well, as we did it twice this morning when I realised I had left my rucksack at the cache!

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Our second of these today. Was going home but Mr W decided I could run in !! and get this. Drizzle in the wind, but at least could see where I was walking this time. Info noted. First visitor since New Years Day!

This turned into a nighmare as we parked far to far away and had to navigate the two marshy rivers acroos to the Tor. BAD move. Mrs T wanted to go home..bless her muddy boots.. kiss Finally got up to GZ and found the cache. OOOHH! a geocoin... which we took. Passed WheelyBarrow on the way up to the cache as I was walking down and as Mrs T was in a much better mood now I left her at the correct layby talking to Mrs WheelyBarrow whilst I walked off to fetch the car. That cache turned out to be 2 miles longer than it should have. But a great cache well hidden. TFTC

With the final feeder cache in sight we selected our chosen parking location.  We discussed this would be the best approach rather than from Black Tor due to the very boggy area between the two Tors (I know, as I took that wrong approach last time I visited Hart Tor).  This made for a pleasant and swift walk to the Tor.  Along the way we saw some people coming towards us from the Tor and we wondered if they were cachers, it turned out they wern't, and they were walking far to slowly to be FTF hounds. Once at Hart Tor we began searching several different spots that could contain a cache, and it was Angelaobscura who came up trumps here, now that's all of us with a find on this challenge.  On opening up the log book, again it was blank, phew, we now knew we were indeed ahead of the pack in order to seek out the bonus.  Everything returned as found.

So far everything was going well and we headed here after the Littaford cache. We had some discussion about where to park and my memory was that there was a good spot where we ended up parking. Thankfully that choice gave us a leisurely walk up to the tor and this cache. We thought it was more than possible that someone would've beaten us here by choosing an alternative order but no, once at the Tor I spotted a likely hiding spot, heartradio was more well sited to get to it and once he did sure enough there was a cache residing (so I'm claiming that find right? wink)  While we were here we found the nearby geocache before heading back to the car. Now off for that bonus!

Found in the company of The Caching Corgis and Evil Beagles.  Weren't even totally sure earlier in the week if we would be attending the event due to Mrs W having the lurgy and the weather that was forecast - however Mrs W was awake first and busy looking to see where the new caches were.  Decision was made that we were going and were going after them - after having a leisurely breakfast first.  This was the third cache on the list - arrived at the parking and had a spot of lunch then Mr W and his trusty companion once again set off.  Passed another person on the way out who later learnt was part of Truffleites.  Another quick find - got the nearby geocache whilst we were out here.

A shorter, and flatter, walk to this one from our chosen parking spot, which was a relief as we've already covered about five miles today. This is a tor I've never visited before, in fact I haven't heard of it - the only Hart Tor I knew of was the one next to the observation post and car parking area near East Okement Farm up on the very north end of the moor and I hoped we were not to have to visit there today. At GZ, we began searching in different areas, and AO pointed me to an area where she thought it could be, and sure enough she was correct! Now to work out the bonus
