Apologies for the late log but I finally managed to get my son to send me the webcam screen grabs.
I set off from the start of the south west coast path at Minehead at around 4pm. The sun set as I reach Hurlstone point and I was glad to reach the pub at Porlock Weir. I got a snack and a beer and phoned home to confirm that I was safe so far (walking alone and at night meant that I had promised to stay in touch if possible) and would be on the webcam in a few minutes. After lurking for a while I headed onwards at 20:36 towards the National Trust bothy at Foreland Point, 9 miles on, which I reached at half past midnight. Next day I continued on for another 20 miles to Ilfracombe. A great trip and it was good to find a couple of opencaches. Thanks for setting this one.

I had just had a really good, long and busy day caching and letterboxing on Exmoor and called in here on the way home.Well there is nothing like a webcam cache to highlight your inadequacies with technology. At gz I immediately saw myself on a picture..wow now what? I left my picture to ring my son and ask how to do a screen save.. it's easy.. when you know how! So back to the wecam for another go.... no matter what I did I could not get it to run without the big arrow thing in the middle.. So asked my son to do it from his location... same thing big arrow! I know you are thinking my ugly mug broke the camera-- thats what I assumed. Luckily you can just see my head, feet and quite clearly Maisie the caching JRT. Thanks for setting this up CT--great fun.
