Found this one whilst out and about on Dartmoor on a glorious sunny day. Started from our base in Bridestowe before making our way to the top of Sourton prior to visiting some geocaches on Hunt Tor and Woodccock hill before a descent via Great Nodden and the Fox and Hounds. No issues with finding this one and only a few local moorland bovines for company. Super site for a cache with far reaching views. TFTC

I came here from a nearby geocache that involved crawling in a small cave lined with sheep dung. Storm Ellen was just arriving as I made my way up from the church but I'm sure the wind and rain gets worse here. I thought for a moment that a cow might be stood on the cache but I managed to find it almost straightaway. Very pleased to notice that the previous finder, amberel, gave it one of his "top cache" awards. Thanks for our first opencache in a while.

Stopped here on my way home from Cornwall. Not the greatest day for caching, and certainly not for the views, because I could only see a few dozen feet. And the wind so strong I could barely stay upright.
A fairly long search was, I'm delighted to say, finally successful :-)
Despite the conditions today, this is a lovely location, and the cache earns the C/O an Amberel TOP CACHE geocoin (see http://www.amberel.com/topcache.htm for details) as well as one of my precious remaining recommendation points ;-)
Thanks for the cache,
Rgds, Andy

Found after a brief search after completing a series of caches listed on the mainstream website.
There was a strong cold easterly wind so I didn't linger long to take in the views!
TFTC.

I was walking around a series listed on another site and noticed that this cache was only a tiny diversion away from my planned route. I was wet and cold having been rained on from Branscombe's Loaf to Sourton Tors so I was not in the mood for a long search. I checked three levels and found the cache on the fourth. The hiding place is a good one and should be safe for some time to come.
The views were great but I didn't stick around to truly appreciate them, the lure of dry clothes was too strong! TFTC

FTF! I had already planned a walk today to attempt the new series nearby when this cache suddenly appeared. Unfortunately I didn't pick the best of days and most of the walk was done in very poor visibility and by the time I reached this cache, it was also very dark! So I didn't get a chance to take in any of the magnificent views which I know are available from here. The first problem was to find the cache and shining my torch into the nearest and most obvious hides revealed nothing. However, within a fairly short time I spotted something that could be the hide and was very pleased to see the cache. Many thanks for placing this cache which I have rated as excellent, but unfortunately I don't have any recommendations left. Now for the tricky descent in the dark.
