Al stages checked over the weekend - mud, mud, mud! - and ready to be found

It may be an exaggeration to say I came out of cache-finding semi-retirement for this, but it has been a long while since I last committed to a full-on, multi-stage, multi-hour cache find. However, having (a) been name-checked (thanks!) and (b) worked my way to the puzzle’s nicely executed solution, I looked at my availability options and today was my best opportunity for a while; so I forewent a Sunday morning lie-in and took a longish drive to Herefordshire instead. I won’t give too much away for fear of introducing spoilers, but I will reveal that I enjoyed the whole experience very much in an interesting area that I had not explored before. The theme was well maintained throughout. My favourite stage was the penultimate one, and it was worth carrying around my extra ‘special equipment’ rucksack to execute this stage in relative comfort. The final container was well conceived and the extra touches were appreciated, including the FTF prize - thanks! I did not head for home straightaway and although not part of the standard cache experience, the extra hour or so I spent in the region was an added bonus: it was icing on the (apple) cake.
