Quite a few opencaches on the islands, but this was by far the best so far, what a great location and all in such amazing condition! Lots of photos to send to my family, my eldest daughter is a history buff but all enjoy this sort of thing.
The container wasn’t the greatest but the location was awesome :-)

This popped up and took us along to a place we would never have been to. What a great find, excellent to to be able to log such an old cache with groundspeak. Very, very blustery day. We should have been heading home but the ferry was cancelled. So instead we had fun battling the wind and caching across the island.

- Having cleared up all the Groundspeak caches we decided to find the Opencaches. Retrieved a rather sad looking soft toy which we have taken home for a bath before moving it on.

After an excellent fish & chips dinner from the van on Porth Cressa, there was plenty of time to walk off some of the calories and do the 2 1/2 mile round trip to Halangy Down. Not many folk about at the top end of the island, barring four golfers teeing off, so nobody to see what I was looking for. And to think that the cache has been lurking there all the time that Mrs S and I have walked past!
