RESUS..

Think this was the highest elevation we searched at today!. Now for more letterboxing down towards Redaven brook.

All good here, cache in perfect order. TFTC

Thanks for the nice quick find. Took nothing but left some old coins and a homemade paracord keyring.

I wondered why I didn't have GP03 on my list and it seems that a previously found cache has been renamed to join the Geopath. Here I was at GP04 near to the highest point in southern England.

Exact coordinates and a good hiding place, caching is all good here! TFTC

Another quick find, we were being watched by soldiers in small tents I think they were pretending to be snipers! When we left the area we could hear gun shots, blanks I hope as it was a non live firing day!  TFTC

As far as we were going today, the walking conditions were great.  Soldiers on the tor seemed to wait until the area was clear before they began their war game.  Thanks for another in the series.

Today is the day that Dixie Gooner and I take on the Dartmoor Geopath. The forecast is not great but what do the met office know.

Another good hide and quick find. Made sure to check for bonus info. Still in fine weather at this point.

Thanks Dartmoor Dave for the cache.

Myself and NSCR had a rare free day together and had decided to head out on to the Moor. Deciding where to go is always difficult. Dartmoor Dave suggested his new series which mainly comprises of open caches. That series is 13 miles long, today I walked 14 miles and only made a small dent in it before we decided to call it a day due to the weather.

We had split up for different caches before arriving at this one.  I got here just before NSCR.  We recorded the bonus information before heading off in our slightly different directions.  Believe it or not, this is my first trip to the top of High Willhays.

Quick find thankyou.  Will gradually work through these if I am going anywhere near them.

I think the very, very first ever TOP CACHE geocoin went to Lord Darcy for a cache on High Willhays, and we are now over 750 of them! That day I approached from the south west on a day that was even windier than today, though at least I wasn't encased in cloud and could see where I was going that day ;-)

Dropped the Koala GeoKret off here :-)

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

As always Gps took straight to the correct rock and Luna soon had her nose in its hidy hole but waited for a group of runners to move away before i retrieved the cache , thanks again

Walked past the communications set up for the army as a 4x4 lorry arrived to join the Land Rover and their big tent. Always promised myself that I would visit this high point of England. TFTC

FTF at noon.

Skirted around Yes Tor having found the cache there in April 2016 when it was part of the Dartmoor Challenge, before finding a cache listed on the mainstream website, and then on to this one for a quick and easy find.

Great to be back up here on a fine and warm day.
