This one was my destination, no detours for other caches, just get here. I am missing a letter/number, so I was hoping that this one had it. And guess what, it didn't. Bugger, I had one DNF at GP10 and hadn't found GP24 yet. What are the chances. This one was quickly found thanks to the good coordinates. Thanks for the way point for access. TFTC

I picked my way over from Cranmere on a lovely clear afternoon.  A bird of prey had recently had its lunch here as the rock above the cache was covered in feathers.

I had loaded the c/o's route into MemoryMap before starting, and had consulted it sporadically along the way, but none more so than between Great Kneeset and here, via the peat pass and Cranmere Pool - I found it very useful, thank-you :-)

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

By the time i got here from east dart head the mist had closed in and i was met by an elderly couple asking how to get back to Belstone  , I told them they could come with me if they wanted a longer walk but decided I would point them along the path down the Taw and pick up the track from Hangingstone , they were keen walkers just dont think they were too keen on loosing some visability out here..cache was another quick find and stopped for a bit to eat , thanks again

Found with not too soggy feet. Had not previously appreciated the Taw started here

Batteries on the GPS died and needed changing. I didn't need a further invitation for a lunch break in the sheltered valley. TFTC

FTF at 14:30

Having found GP10 in its former guise as Dartmoor Challenge 02 in April 2016 skipped that cache but signed the visitor's book in the Cranmere Pool letterbox on my way past, as we do each time we visit that iconic location.

A quick find with the aid of the hint after a steady trudge from the west.

TFTC.
