After a steep climb up the Geopath from down below, this one turned out to be a fair way away from where I imagined it would be. Fantastic views from here today.. TFTC

I was well overdue a walk on the Moor, so teamed up with Smithy138. Although it was a cold day, there was no wind and it remained dry. The ground was frozen in a lot of places which was a blessing.

This wasn't on the original list as Smithy138 doesn't do OoenCaches, but as I was so close I couldn't resist it. I made the short diversion while Smithy138 carried on to the Ground speak cache.

Pure determination got me up to this one. I needed several breaks, but enough places to rest. Bloody annoying not being well for a walk like this. But I've got there and had another rest while signing the log. Now a less hilly walk on. TFTC

I wonder how Steeperton got its name?! I approached this one from OP17 and crossed the Taw at Knack Mine Ford to reduce the intensity of the climb. Once near GZ the Garmin went beep and a likely hide was spotted.

The breeze is still increasing but the temperature is too mild to warrant putting on another layer. TFTC

This was the last cache visit of the day. Found after a short search and dropped off a GeoKret I'd picked up early this morning. 

I then headed off to look for a spot to pitch my tent for the night, finding a nice little patch on the eastern side, out of the wind.
