I was well overdue a walk on the Moor, so teamed up with Smithy138. Although it was a cold day, there was no wind and it remained dry. The ground was frozen in a lot of places which was a blessing.

There were plenty of items that matched the hint, but the picture gave it away

Met a very nice elderly couple on the way to Oke Tor. I hope I will be a fit as them in the future. They return to the car after Oke Tor (and didn't help me find the cache;-)). TFTC

First opencache in a year or so, didn't take too long despite not having the spoiler.

It was very busy here today what with all the Ten Tors going on and this Tor seemingly being used as one of the manned checkpoints.. very amusing to see the helicopters constanly passing over head--almost an Air Show!

Thanks for placing these OCs and setting up the Geo Path- looking forward to progressing the trail in the future.. TFTC

I wasn't planning to head this far south but the lure of 'just one more' was too strong to resist. If I have time I plan to walk to Wild and Steeperton Tors before an upcoming event on Rival Tor. That would leave this cache isolated in a sea of finds and my OCD side couldn't tolerate that.

GPS is spot on here, despite a multitude of hiding places I managed to spot the correct one very quickly. TFTC

It was nice to find some easier going after exploring Steeperton Gorge. I approached this one from the eastern side, going over and dropping down the the cache. Found with the help of the spoiler, then dropped off a GeoKret I'd collected back along the trail.

I'm not in mountain goat mode at the moment so took a little time to get here, maybe I should have looked at the trailhead!  MTFTC

A bit a scrambling over rocks to get to this one, but once a gz it was a quick find. Many thanks.

I've been doing a considerable number of detours and "extras" while going round the GeoPath, and so I was not surprised to see that I was running quite late. As I'd planned to visit the c/o in the evening, and I didn't want to turn up at midnight, I decided to return to the campervan at this point, and resume the GeoPath in the morning.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Found this on my return alone.  Had a bit of drama here, Mr W got himself in a position he shouldn't have been, and in the process of getting him out of his predicament, I scraped my shin bone on the granite, my skin is so thin, that right away it bled.  Anyway, always carry first aid things, antiseptic and a large plaster applied, and we gave up on this cache and proceeded to Knack Mine.  He left me there to replace a cache of ours.  So as I came back along the same way I went virtually I thought I will look again, and this time saw it right away,  the worry of where he was threw me completely.

Second cache on this trail this morning, working backwards from OP22 out towards Wild Tor.  Sunny, warm and very quiet.  Thanks for the cache!

After a steep climb up from the previous cache to the track we were glad of the easier terrain

That was quite a climb out of the gorge and quite a stride over to this cache. TFTC

Found after a brief search but would have been so much easier if I'd had access to the spoiler picture!

Tip for future seekers - dispense with the spoiler pictures if you want a more challenging time.
