I am getting better to find the spoiler photo places. Sometimes it takes longer than just looking for the cache. TFTC

Always enjoy a visit to this Tor. The cache took a bit of a search but got there in the end.. Weather conditions are ideal today, dry, sunny and a light breeze- now to drop down into the valley before heading to the next OC. TFTC

Today's planned walk started not long after first light and took me from Belstone to Knattaborough Tor for a trackable on the 'other site'. The release of this Geopath means there are lots of new opencaches in this area for me to find. This was my first on this site and the search took place after a climb up from the East Okement.
GPS took me close to the right area and it was a matter of a systematic search to reveal this cache. TFTC

I really must remember either to download the spoilers or remember my password for this site it would really help shorten the search in conditions such as today. Took a few minutes but we got it OK and that leaves just one more Open Cache on todays list. MTFTC

I was disturbed by a couple of "muggles" just as I was about to return the cache to it's hiding place. I also started to hear the sound of firing in the direction of Row Tor. This later turned out to be a small Army exercise using blanks and they decided to pause for lunch as I drew close!

I think this is the first time I've walked right along this "ridge" of tors.
Thanks for the cache,

My last for today. 8.50 miles walked. There is no way that I could walk the 14 miles and be out for 10 hours. Had decided that this series fits in with checking our caches, and putting out caches. However we would have to break it up into chunks. Also have visited a few of the opencaches in any case, so will not be visiting them again. As to the bonus information, I decided that as we were going to do this our way, that we would not go for the bonuses. It was a nice day, despite the mini drama. The weather played ball, a brilliant day for walking, not too hot, and hardly a soul around. All good sized caches which made life a lot easier.

Took me a little longer to find this one but no issues , decided to stop for a drink and a bite more to eat in the shelter of the tor

Yet another case where access to the spoiler picture would have made the search quicker.
Glad to find the cache after a relatively brief search and to find another blank log awaiting our signature.
