A lot can go astray in two and a half years, I'll check it out on my next trip to the moor.

We didn't have the spoiler and now I look at it I can't believe that we didn't find it in spite of the quite large number of possible hiding places.  We were lured here by this being an amberel "Top Cache".  Never mind.

First walk I've had for ages which wasn't raining, but dart very full. I watched a couple approach it while I was at the cache and try to ford. The wind dropped enough for the man's voice to come very clearly across "Oh Bugger!" as he got wet. Made me chuckle as I'd gained very wet socks doing the same earlier :)

Cache in good order and very well stocked. Thanks.

A nice easy find. Plenty of walkers about today, probably due to the good weather for April.

Lovely find on a freezing cold day on the Moor.  The cold made the walk out along the Lych Way much easier as all the bogs were frozen solid!

Called past on whilst walking the Lych way, on what was a wet old day on the moor.

A long walk back along the Way of the Dead, though over predominantly straightforward going. At least, it was until I got nearly to the cache, where at the last moment it changed dramatically. Old, tired legs slowly scrabbled their way to the cache location and the excellent cache Smile.

Yet another TOP CACHE, see http://www.amberel.com/topcache.htm .

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

My great-gran might have been half mountain goat, but I am not!!  came down from above at the end of a hard days walk.  This was a tester over the steep rocks and then back up again to get back to the car. Nice big box though.

All in good condition,  TFTC,   Andrew.

6th and last one of the day, great spot for a cache, it was very warm at the cache site as it was sheltered from the wind. Now for a walk up the tor and back to Holming Beam. TFTC.

Great to get out and about on Dartmoor. Good co-ord made for a quick find.

I found this cache as a geocache originally on December 21st in 2008, but as we were walking in the area, we decided to do this cache again as an opencache. We picked up a couple of geocaches and opencaches in a nearly 10 mile walk, we would have done a few more but the cold had us beat after a hailstorm so we headed back to the car in the end.

It's a good cache to do twice!

A bitterly cold day on the moor but great walking weather so decided to revisit this site before logging on Open caching.  Good coords so a quick find, thanks for this one.

I parked up at Two Bridges and followed the leat up to this one today. I was well kitted out against the cold but it got very warm so I ended carrying most of it on the way here. As I got to the cache though, the temperature suddenly dropped and I got caught in a snow storm. It lasted a few minutes then stopped as quick as it started and the sun came out again.

From here I carried on up the Dart , under Crow Tor then up to Higher and Lower White Tor caches, great walk thanks.

The cache and contents are in perfect condition Smile.
