Beautiful place. Just starting my adventure with seeking treasure with my kids. We really enjoyed day out and view. Unfortunately couldn't find it. I was digging really deep in this place.

My only opencaching find of the day despite there being 3 in this area. The climb up to the summit seemed to get steeper as I gained height, not ideal after a hilly walk.

I searched the obvious place to no avail, then searched elsewhere. The spoiler pic showed that I was in the right area first time but didn't look hard enough.

It was great to revisit this spot after so many years. Came across from Wigford down on a very pleasant walk. Cache in great condition.

I made my way to this one with the intention of picking up some information for a geocaching.com cache but thought i would check here for a cache as i often walk past them!

Once at the GZ it was a much easier find than i thought it was going to be and the original log book! I was pleased to be able to find this one 5 years or so after its last find.

Thanks for the opencache

A lovely spot and one which seemed familiar, I'd chosen these rocks to sit on when here a few weeks ago geocaching.  A beautiful area and such spectacular views.  Thanks.Laughing

Another green star, and another TOP CACHE - Spannerman is collecting an increasing number of these Laughing.

What was good enough for Brentorboxer was good enough for me, so I too walked over from Urgles, though walking from Cadover may have given more opportunity to pick up some Groundspeak caches.

Once at the rock, what spectacular views around almost 360 degrees!

As the cache page says, it was a tricky find, and I was grateful for the spoiler.

Thanks for yet another splendid walk to a great location,

Rgds, Andy

Walked up from Urgles to get this one, decided it was a little shorter, maybe?

Cache found quickly, I am sure there was a letterbox under the next stone up the hill but not there now, silly place to put it as it could be seen, but the cache was very well hidden, so I don't think it will end up like the letterbox.

Thanks for the cache. TNLN. P.S. that plaque was interesting!

Having to visit Cadover today I had the ideal excuse, if one were needed, to visit this cache.  Last time I was here I walked up the steep way and missed the path going down again leading to an interesting descent, this time it was no more than a gentle stroll over friendly terrain to reach the cache site.  Thanks for a pleasant walk and a well but sensibly hidden cache in a great spot.

It was great to have an excuse to revisit this superb location. The moor was a little damp today but it was still an enjoyable walk along from Cadover Bridge. I found the box after a short search and was pleased to discover that I was the first visitor.

Many thanks for the FTF reward. I left a tiny pen and a couple of Pathtags.

TFTC.
