I came on to this cache from the Hart Tor Brook cache but unfortunately I was unable to find this cache either. I will return to have another look as there are a couple more opencaches in the area which I want to find as well.

Had no problem finding the cache of this name listed on the mainstream website, but couldn't find this one.

This cache hasn't been found for several years so might be worth a check by the CO.

MAINTENANCE VISIT.<br /> Since my last visit someone has placed a Letterbox about one metre away from the cache! The Letterbox is a big, white pill-pot.

Started from Norsworthy Bridge at Burrator Reservoir collecting some geocaches on the way, also placed a cache one of my Trig point caches and then over to Cramber Tor to pick up your opencache. We collected this one when it was a Terracache about a year ago.TFTC

Walked in from Devil's Bridge calling in to Hart Tor then up to Cramber, beautiful day for a walk, it is so dry underfoot at the moment. TFTC.

I didn't intend doing this as well today but I still had a few hours to spare so parked up near FoxTor Mire and wandered across to this tor. It's normally very boggy across the top but most of it was frozen solid today. I remember I had a job finding this the first time but i just followed the arrow right to it today, it was literally under the first rock I poked my stick.

Thanks for another oneSmile.

Logging on 11th Jan 1020 after having found the cache on 9th Sept. last year, when it was a TerraCache. Here is my TerraCache log:

My first TerraCache of the day, and my decision yesterday to switch round my itinerary is amply justified. Instead of doing this cache enveloped in yesterday's cloud, I'm here at 09:00 on a gloriously sunny morning. The cool east wind is quite bracing, but this is going to be a lovely day.

The cache was found in the very first place I put my hand. The co-ordinates in these wide open spaces on the moor are almost invariably remarkably good - it's rare for my GPSr to disagree with the cache page by more than 3 or 4 feet. More than anywhere else I've cached, I trust the GPS.

Thanks for a great cache in a superb spot,

Rgds, Andy

Great views form here, I seem to recall I didn't use the most direct route though.  Originally logged on T/C
