Only now spotted that these were also on opencaching. So a belated log from me.

I've actually did them in two sessions on foot.

This one was quite a way down in its hiding place.  Rehid it so that it is a bit more accessible.

We missed this one when doing the rest of the series because it had been muggled. Today it was a quick drive-by.

Thanks for the cache.

942 2010-06-18 10:05 Amberel (user activity610) - Found it

On my first foray around the circuit I deduced from the conditions at GZ that the cache had disappeared. And so it proved.

Came back today as a "ride by" to find the neatly hidden replacement Laughing . The first cache found when using my new scooter Laughing .

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

No problems finding this one. Second to find (after asfastasfcuk).

837 2010-06-06 17:52 sandvika (user activity105) - Note

Cache relocated by asfastasfcuk (first finder) at a better spot nearby, clue tickets earlier on circuit have been updated.

For those who have the OLD coordinates of the coned-off area where trees have been felled, to allow you to find the cache without needing to return to a previous cache to get the new ones:

Add 0.003 minutes to the latitude (northing)

Add 0.145 minutes to the longitude (westing)

799 2010-05-31 15:54 sandvika (user activity105) - Note

After reports at the Binfield Bash of traffic cones at this spot I paid a visit on my way home. This appears to be an unlucky place to have chosen for the cache. Frown

The unfortunate cache is now 'coned off', Surprised the original which vanished would not have been but the hiding place no longer exists. I've identified a new place nearby to hide a cache which will be the replacement hide but did not have my GPsr with me.

Thus I'll do it properly and amend the affected clue tickets too. It will take a couple of days. Meanwhile coordinates for BBC11 are provided before BBC10 anyway so its absence does not break the chain. Smile

Oh well. on to the next...

759 2010-05-29 21:48 sandvika (user activity105) - Note

Amberel did not find this cache today due to misreading the scene, which shows a great deal of recent activity. The original cache was indeed lost here before it was ever found, when changes were made, however it has been replaced. I would suggest using the clue early in your search.

762 2010-05-29 13:10 Amberel (user activity610) - Didn't find it

This location gave every appearance of having recently been subject to substantial works - there were cut logs lying around and my GPSr pointed to an area covered with traffic cones that looked as if a stump had just been pulled.

I therefore moved on without a proper search. From Roderick's note I may have been too hasty.

The first DNF so far - at least it leaves an FTF for someone else Laughing.
