I was the first to look for this cache, and also the first to DNF it Smile. Since then we've had an update to the co-ordinates, so I went back again today.

I still struggled a bit with it, and I think it was psychological - the original co-ordinates put me well onto the wrong side of the path, and though I was now armed with a correction factor I returned to that side of the path. Only after a considerable period did I take stock, cross the path and find the cache.

Good to cross this one off the list Smile.

Sorry, we hadn't noticed that there may be a problem with the coords so we didn't take new ones. Our GPSs took us within 10m and then we just searched the obvious object.

Looking at the location later on GE it does look like the given coords are too far north and deducting 9 or 10 will put you closer to the hiding place. Let's just say that sandika has a clever knack of not putting caches in the place where everyone else would.

I'm not particularly suprised by this DNF as the original GPSr reading I'd taken seemed quite far away when I returned to add the laminated clue note and indeed I took a new reading. Unfortunately it is now looking like the new reading may be the better one - if you don't find it easily subtract 9 thousandths from your latitude (Northing). If this proves better I'll amend the cache particulars.

Spent a long time on this one, but my GPSr kept trying to take me into an area that appeared to be impenetrable brambles, and eventually I had to give it up.
