I've been to Men An Tol before but drpljg hadn't and I have often thought of coming back when on the Penwith peninsula.  We had time to come here today, being quite early for our flight from Land's End to the Isles of Scilly.  We got to the parking spot just as the England women lost the football but we enjoyed a walk in the sun.  There were two other pairs of people at the stones but we couldn't stayed long.  I think this is one of my very favourite ancient sites.  Thanks for placing this.

As I have said in previous logs. A great day, and a lovely walk. I wandered up to the nearby trig, and then returned to here where he was waiting for me. Got on my hands and knees and went through the Tolmen, having also done your one on Dartmoor some years ago.

All fine here.

Visiting the area this afternoon to pick up a couple of geocaches and the three virtual opencaches. There has been a gorse fire surrounding the stones recently but I managed to miss them out of the photos we took.

Now I need to work out how to upload some photos.

Cant upload photo, as camera has too many mega-pixels.

Out for a walk today taking in Ding Dong, Bodrifty and Boswarthen, with three geacaches and two opencaches.

Bit of excitement on the way here as Teasel did a Vicar of Dibley - she jumped in a puddle and disappeared. Soon dried out again though, and at least it was a warning to Mr & Mrs R to steer well clear.

Don't know why we haven't logged this one before, as we have walked here many times.

Now on to Men Scryfa. Thanks for the walk and for bringing us here again.

Performed the necessary ritual though the sun was almost perpendicular to the hoop!

Great walk on a really sunny April day. FTF which we are very pleased about. This location is quite facinating. Lady Sonatella did crawl through the hole. Great fun. TFTC
