We came up in the pouring rain and searched for a while.  Then reluctantly went away empty handed. ????

I was out with the killer of mice for this remote cache, with battered winds and rain galore hitting us as we tried to find this elusive cache. Having struggled, we were defeated more by the elements and abandoned our search....

A caching day on the moors with Amberel, quite a long search here before Amberel uncovered it.

Walking round Anglezarke Moor and was pleased to see there are some OpenCaches here Smile. Spent ages searching for this one, longer than we might have spent on a Groundspeak cache, and only found it some time after we had "given up" Smile. The stone covering the cache had really "grown" into the ground and looked as if it didn't move - but it did Smile.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Such a pity.  I only now realise that I walked within 100m of this cache on the way to an ancient geocache.  Sorry.

I had been for a walk on the moors on the other side of the valley and on returning to the car I got a email notification of a new cache. Pulled the web page up on the mobile and put the numbers in my GPSr and it was only 0.38 mile away. Locked the car and off I went taking the path from Alance Bridge climbing onto the moors and then across a field towards GZ passing a couple who had just made it up the hill from Lead Mines. On arriving at GZ looked around and spotted a likely hide so took a seat next to it and bingo we have a turtle. Signed the log and replaced the cache. Took in the views while composing myself for the walk back and updating my status on that facebook thingy. Thanks for the cache.
