This webcam cache has been on my radar for years now, usually coming to mind as I drive up and down the M6 on trips to the Lake District, but somehow the time's never been right to detour here until today. After a beautiful walk in Troutbeck Valley, I got back to the car with about an hour's daylight left, so not enough to venture off on another walk, but just right to head across to Arnside on my return drive to watch the sunset as a lovely way to round off my trip.
Sure enough it's a lovely setting to enjoy the low winter sunlight on a chilly January day with the footpaths frozen and not that many people about. I soon had the webcam image up on my phone, and got used to the short delay in the images appearing on the page. That's me in the yellow jacket, stood on the pier. Great fun and I now have one more example of this rare cache type in the bag. Thanks for the webcam cache the mushroom man.

It's been quite a while since the webcam has not been available. Recently noticed that there is now a nice new one up and running.
We visited today and had the usual lovely F&C, then went for a wander and found a couple of other caches. Did the multi cache on the pier. Managed to get a pic of us via the webcam!
FTF on this long established cache!
Been a while since I've found an OC one too, but glad to get this one today.
