Had to come up this way again to try for a DD cache near here took the opportunity to look for this one. Oh so many flying ants near GC - good job it was a quick find. We then found a large quantity of BBq rubbish on Hr.Tor which we took back to car with the held of another walker. Why do they bring it all the way out here and then leave it?

A short hop-skip-and-jump from the GC cache of the same name (in fact it was more of an uphill slog!) to another cache themed on the Irishmans wall. My GPS took me to the wall itself but after contemplating where a cache could be hidden I relocated a few metres away and had the little blighter in hand. The recent maintenance is holding up well. I teamed up with Mr NSCR to get out on the moors and grab a few caches today. He chose the route and there were a few that I had already done and some which he had recently adopted. We both like an Open cache, so it was a varied day.

NSCR laid hands on this and did a bit of maintenance on the cache.  I think it was his favourite find of the day.

We were very happy to.get the smiley here. The cache was very wet but we left the original log book and then put a new log book with a film pot to keep it dry.

Another reasonably straightforward find, but the log was very wet so I took a photograph rather than trying to unfold it for signature.

Had a quick look for this using the fairly precise hint, but no luck. Will be back another day to complete the walk.

This was my second opencache of the day, but I struggled to find this one.  I spent a long time searching at what I made GZ but I couldn't really relate it to the hints.  However, I did eventually spot the cache further down the hill to where I had been searching - and then the hints made sense, tftc.  I don't remember there being a problem with the logbook and did not see Dave's log before I went to find this.

Much quicker than the last, the log is missing in the cache, sorry I could not sort out as the weather was terrible, if I'm passing again I will put a new log in, many thanks

TFTC Another one collected in this series. Can&#039;t believe they haven&#039;t been found for so long. Feeling accomplished. <br />

This was the only opencache of the day, my search time was limited for all of them due to the evening drawing in. Came across this one relatively quickly and enjoyed the view for a few minutes.

After our failure at Higher Tor, we were very pleased to find this one. Took a couple of minutes, but the accurate hint helped.

Beautiful day today - sun peeping through the scant mist. Now on to the summit.

I also had a quick find on this one but I did read the hint on the way here. Even with excellent coordinates, when finding caches of this size on Dartmoor you need all the help you can get. I thought these coords were about 20ft out but the hint was very clear so it wasn't a problem.

After such a long search on the last cache, I made up a lot of time on this one by going straight to it.

Very interested to see the wall.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy
