No problems here other than the amount of bracken around

A day with a few caches to get, and Mr W unable to walk the path I was taking, so having looked at his phone he said he would look for this one, however having not had much luck with this COs caches, neither of us were very optimistic. Good for him he did find it, unfortunately log wet, both containers wet, he dried it out as well as he could and just managed to sign the log. Thanks for the cache.

My only find of the day on a very wet walk from Belstone village. The other members of my party were not cachers or moorland walkers and weren't dressed appropriately so the walk was much shorter than I am used to.
Looking at the logbook I have my name in here from June 2020. I don't recall my visit and it seems I forgot to log it on here too. I will therefore log with today's date given I re-found the good hide. TFTC

This cache was our first cache of the day at the start if a 10 mile hike from Belstone over Oke Tor, returning via East Mill Tor. It was the only opencache of the day, and was in excellent condition. The day was cold but exilliarating
We found the geocaching.com cache a few years ago and were under the impression that this feature was the Belstone Seal. I’ve been wondering what the Bell was and I can see it now.
Thanks for the enlightenment.

The last of four Opencaches found on a fine afternoon, in hand after a brief search.
TFTC and Thanks to DD for his maintenance visit last February.

I last visited this cache last August and promised to return to perform some maintenance. However, the first problem I had was finding it again! It looks so different in February to August as there is almost no vegetation, which completely threw me. Stupidly I looked at the hint and not the gps so concentrated my search in the wrong location. Eventually I looked at the gps again and realised I needed to relocate! Once I had, I immediately remembered the hide and put my hand on the cache. I decided that the cache must be leaking so replacing the logbook would be a waste of time, so I replaced the whole cache !

Re-logging a couple of logs that went missing. I had hoped to attempt several of this series today, but my main objective was to place a cache or two near Steeperton Tor and find a few others. After my earlier DNF I didn't attempt any more opencaches until I just had time at the end of a very long day to attempt this one. Of course I found the GC cache first, which I had already logged some time previously and then used the hint to find this one, tftc. Unfortunately this cache was fairly damp and I will attempt to replace it on a second visit when I hope to concentrate most of the day on this series of open caches.

Out on a walk this morning from Belstone to Higher Tor, Belstone Tor and the Nine Maidens, combining geocaching and opencaching.
This was our first Opencache of the day. Took a few minutes, but we eventually found it. Accurate hint helped.
Really enjoying the walk so far, the mist is lifting now and the sun just coming through.
Thanks for bringing us here - would never have noticed the rock otherwise.
Now for the ascent of Higher Tor.

A lovely morning to do this series, overcast but not cold enough to need any extra gear. I made this the first one to get the big climb out of the way early on. No problem finding it using the hint and after signing the log I headed up the hill.

The afternoon of the last day of my 3 day caching break on Dartmoor. All I have left are the OpenCaches on Belstone Common, plus the few Groundspeak caches in between. I must make the most of what time I have left.
This was the first "real" cache, after the simple starter by the gate. I guess it is from the eponymous Bell Stone that the entire moor derives its name.
Thanks for the cache,
Rgds, Andy
