Took far too long to find. In the end I was lucky to look one last time.

Found during a circular walk fro Bridestowe to Lydford and return via Widgery Cross, Arms Tor and Great Links. Took a while to find this one despite the excellent clue given. Unfortunately the log was saturated and not usable so have left a new log  TFTC

Found while walking between caches listed on the mainstream website.

The cache was soon in hand thanks to the generous hint.

TFTC.

Here on a warm and sunny day. Plenty of people around today enjoying the weather. Once at GZ soon found and logged. Tftc.

I arrived here from Smallacombe Rock and was considering whether I had the energy to attempt another climb after walking all day. I am glad I did because even though I ended up back in the cloud layer I could follow a reasonably flat path from here all the way to Brat Tor and Widgery Cross.

I was grateful for the spoiler photo here, despite the fairly explicit hint I still struggled to locate this tiny pot. Thanks for bringing me here!

Another early start as I wanted to check on some of my nearby caches before an event down by the Lyd.  A fairly easy cache to find, tftc, but the log is fairly damp, although signable.

Nice easy find to complete a fairly successful days caching.

Two DNF's but the rest OK!

Nice to see this was being visited again three times in one week after a long absence.

Cache easily found thanks to spoiler as phone was all over the place!

The logbook was too damp to sign so we added another piece of paper to keep it going a bit longer.

Beautiful end to a lovely day out in the fresh air. Sunny and warm at cache site.

Out for a walk with NSCR. Have now reloaded all the opencaches on c.geo and will make the effort to log them.

First had a look at Arms Tor holly, then looked for a couple of boxes nearby but soon got bored with that. Decided you check in on this cache, very nice too ..thank you

Thanks Margaret, had some maintenance to do so thought we would look for a couple of open caches.  Replaced log as it was soggy pulp.

Had a good dig around where the spoiler points but no luck.

Gave up when the wind finally got on my nerves.

The last of our five OpenCaches today, though we would find another eight or nine Groundspeak caches on the way back.

It's been a lovely day on the moor, glorious sunshine from a clear blue sky, best day of the year so far.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Another tricky hide, and we needed the spoiler. Thanks for the cache.

The last Opencache on a 7 mile circuit today and it really was the easiest out of them all. My apologies to Sandvika but I arrived, found and signed the cache and was on my way again within two minutes. It is, as he says, where the picture shows and I'm sure he was within mils of it but you need to understand how BTB hides her caches for a quick find, or even a find at all.

As I headed down the hill, the wind dropped and the fog cleared. Maybe the moor just didn't want me up here today and cleared up as I leftFrown.

Thanks for the caches which, combined with ELdittons, made a very enjoyable few hours today.

Original plan had been to seek caches further south but the area was closed for shooting so this area outside the ranges became the fall back position. Preparation for our holiday had been very limited - basically loading caches from OC, TC and GC into GSAK and then dumping them onto my GPSr. I'd then chosen the 2 areas to hike in based on nice hiking route and FTF opportunities.

Anyway, suffice to say that my GPSr stores only the first 32 characters of the clue (GSAK would have provided all, if my GPSr had been capable) and after a long search including stopping to eat lunch, we turned up empty handed. I'd no idea there was a spoiler or I'd have phoned a friend but my GPSr put GZ at the top of the rock with the cave beneath and we had spent most of our time searching around it and thereabouts. Definitely searched where the spoiler shows but evidently not well enough as this was our first DNF of the day, having found 2 GCs and 1 letterbox on the way up.
