No luck for me here despite a quite long search, but I was using the spoiler photo from the GC cache page and it may differ from the hint on this page. Guess I was looking in the wrong place,

Rgds, Andy

I forgot to upload opencaches to my Garmin last night but note this one is cross listed so logging a find. Found en route to Fur Tor on New Year's day. TFTC

On the way to Fur Tor we used the pass, I observed that this cache was cross listed so here I am logging a find, found in the company of Ed-don, ChudleighTraveller and heartradio :)

Cut Hill Peat Pass was our target, purely for the caches either end on our way to Fur Tor. It's been a long time since I last visited Cut Hill, probably 25 years or so, when I spent quite a lot of time Letterboxing here. Back then, this hill was literally littered in boxes, placed every few metres or so plugged into the peat banks. We arrived at GZ and began our search, when something was spotted. I looked in a bit more detail and removed the container hiding away. When looking at the log, I noticed the last log of my friend Hartshorns well over twelve months ago. We signed in and the cache was returned.

Thanks Ed-don for the tip-off in the field that these were also listed on Opencaching. I have never visited Cut Hill but have heard a lot about it!  Followed the range boundaries up and I soon spotted Frank Filmpotts' Peat Pass Marker. I'm going to come clean and say I can't remember who found this one, I was obviously too optimistic about my memory when taking notes!!

Isaac

Two weeks ago Dartmoor Dave posted that he was intending to go for a walk on the moors as far as to Fur Tor Pool following the East Dart river on the way out and coming back more towards the West. An offer was made for anyone to join him and the only takers were myself ad Ping68. As the day in question got closer we cancelled as the weather forecast wasn't good and we decided to reschedule for today as this fitted most of us with work commitments ( I had none, Paul had to be back at his car by 1615 (which caused a change in plans later) in order to get back for work and Judy firmly had the reigns at The Cherrybrook). The only thing we hadn't looked into was the range firings for that day. We started the day with a hearty breakfast (thank you Judy) before heading out. Well if the weather wasn't good two weeks ago, I don't know what today's counts as? We have started in the snow, although it doesn't seem to be settling too much.

Dave had this loaded on his machine and pointed me in the right direction as he had previously found this

Found completely by accident as I was on my way to Fur Tor.  Thought I recognised a cacher's stone!

FTF with RR, we walked from Baggator just over 13 miles  collecting letterboxes on the way, a good day for walking with a bit of fog which cleared after a while.

Out for a long day from Baggator with Brentorboxer via Tavy Hole and South Tavy Head to Cut Hill, and back.  Cache easily found, many thanks
