Today was the Dartmoor 365 event at Cranmere pool. My first proper visit since rushing out for a FTF in darkness. Today I arrived at the designated parking spot in slight darkness as I waited for Mr Arooga, Mr NSCR and Mr GeoOldham.

After a DNF on the nearby OC, it was great to get this one.

Headed along the side of the peat pass to this one, as that seemed infinitely preferable to walking in it, as you say it is in a bit of a state! Soon located the cache at GZ, many thanks

Today I took the train to Okehampton, cycled to OP15 and then set about a walk to Ockerton Court, Great Kneeset and Dinger Tor. This cache was not far off my route so I headed across surprisingly dry ground to find it. TFTC, all is well here

A quick and easy find after a long-winded DNF at Ockerton Court Peat Pass - Stumped.

Left car at Hart Tor and followed the road generally around E.Mill Tor till OP15, then took the track towards Whitehorse Hill till the turn off for Ockerton Court. Once at GZ soon spotted the hint items. TFTC

The 2 Ockerton Court Peat Pass caches were one of my main objectives of my walk today and having just replaced the cache at the west end of the pass came on here.  The cache hide was immediately obvious and the cache was tucked safely underneath, tftc.  The condition of this cache was perfectly good so no need to use the second replacement cache I had brought along.

In better condition than the cache at the west end.

Quickly found on the way back from Cranmere Pool.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

Found just after we crossed paths in the "busy" Cranmere Pool area with the last person we met before reaching Princetown.  Our first Peat Pass of the day.  Thanks.

Yes, I found it, and you're right. The pass is in poor condition - my left foot managed to find a water hole about 18" deep!! GH.
