Managed to scuttle around the village this morning  even with the dogs which have been banned in case they disturb the sewerage debris on the beach. Really it's steep round ere.. Cache in good order thank you Gribben. Is that your art gallery?

Popped into Fowey to pinch, errr, I mean borrow, a couple of extra chairs for over the Christmas holiday, perhaps someday I'll have more chairs or a bigger house or both! On the way back I thought I could spare half an hour or so to grab this one and it's sibling.  A quick rattle around the beach yielded the info needed to work out the final spot....I think that's the first time I've done that whilst being sandblasted, yep, it was a bit windy today!  Made my way up to a familiar spot and the cache was found after a brief search, of course I started out with a far higher terrain rating than I really needed, walking boots not the most grippy over some of this terrain! Anyway, once I could breathe again I made my way back down.....great spot, nice short and enjoyable multi. TFTC

Had a great time walking round with CornishCandy after work. The questions were all straightforward and we soon had the coords worked out. This was lucky as the tide was very high this evening and accessing the breakwater was tricky! Anyway, after puffing our way up the hill, we soon had the cache in hand. It is in great nick - Bone dry inside and well stocked. Swapped a pathtag, otherwise no trade. Many thanks for another great cache.

I actually walked right past this one on the way into Polkerris but it was ideally placed as I was heading on around the coast path after my visit here anyway. Once I had worked out the location I headed up and as I neared the site, a family were slowly making their way up the path. I decided it was better to come clean to them so I went right for the cache and as they approached I explained what I was doing. One of them had read about caching and they were all very interested, especially the children who each took a prize (with Mum and Dads permission) and I replaced some swaps in the cache. One of the Mums grew up on the hills of Dartmoor so they were aware of letterboxing and we had a good long chat before I managed to get away and on with my walk.

This was the first time Mrs. Amberel had seen first hand the attention to detail and all round excellence of a typical Gribben cache Smile.

We found one or two possible ambiguities in the clues, but in each case the most likely answer proved to be the right one Smile.

Thanks for another great cache,

Rgds, Andy

A sunny evening at Polkerris, meant for a quick cache and then let the children play on the beach. The beach was very busy tonight. TFTC.
