I did take a photo of me at the statue close by (and would have been in shot if the webcam worked), so attach that as proof of my visit and claim of a find.

I am the UK ambassador for GeoWoodstock XVI. GWS is being held in Cincinnati in May 2018 and is set to be the biggest event in the USA ever, and is now set to be the first Giga outside Europe!

Hunting in York today and glad to see an OC and Webcam pop up! Even better to see they link works on my phone and so I could simply capture there and then on my own.
Seemed like the camera updated about once every 5 minutes or so, so it didnt take long until I was captured in position... staring at the Android hitting "Refresh" haha

Yeah, first to find
through a coincidence I discovered this webcam cache a few hours before I went to York.
The picture has poor quality, but in the end you may see my contours.
