I was out and about picking up a variety of caches in Bristol and stopped by to get this one.

I recorded the first part of the information. I then took the required picture

I'm down in Bristol for work for a couple of days, which gave me some time to enjoy several city centre caches including the three opencaching virtuals. This formed part of my evening walk after dinner to do more exploring before returning to the hotel. A nice easy find of the interesting sculpture, but it took me longer than it probably should have done to locate the plaque in the darkness. A string of fire engines on blue lights went screaming past as I set off again. Thanks for the cache.

My first OpenCache! Wandering through Bristol and came across this by chance. Would have walked straight past the sculpture if not for it. Thanks.

In Bristol for the second round of the British Dragon Boat National League and between races I went to find some caches. As a graduate in Physics courtesy of the nearby University I am familiar with Paul Dirac 's work so this cache was a must-do. Thanks for showing me a sculpture that I did not know existed

I don't know why I haven't found this OpenCache sooner. I really must make time to go round some of the others nearby soon! Anyway, I was out for lunch at one of the nearby dockside restaurants, and realised that this was nearby. I've been aware of the sculpture before (I'm sure it must have featured as a clue in a cache on another site), but it's always nice to see these things again and be reminded of the history. T4tC, JRI.

An interesting sculpture easily found, the information took me a bit longer to locate. Got there in the end

A place I have been many times before, but I've only just discovered that there's a virtual here!
No problems finding the monument of course, although it took me a few moments to see the information about it.

I was pleased that there were a few virtual caches to do here in the centre. I had a couple of hours to pass whilst I was waiting for the rest of the family who were watching a show, and I had planned to walk around and try and find one or two caches. I passed a few gc.com caches but didn't feel comfortable looking for them as there were so many people around (to be honest, probably a normal amount of people for the middle of Bristol, but I am just not used to caching with such a large amount of onlookers),

This virtual and a few others popped up on c:geo and I decided they would be ore relaxing finds. Found the required info quickly for this one and then took the photo.

Thank you for taking me to this spot I have not been to before.

We were in town today to collect some theatre tickets, so decided to look for a couple of opencaches as well.

We strolled from the Hippodrome to this sculpture, which I must confess, we had never really noticed before.

We found the necessary information, and took a photograph of Swash by the sculpture.

In a city of Cabots, Colstons and Wills the surname Dirac really doesn't get enough attention. One of, if not the best brains ever to come from Bristol.

With the little one today today to teach him early. Sadly he held up 'Doctor Octopus' rather than the GPS I left him with but think we can count this as his first Opencache. Hopefully a little bit of knowledge seeped into this young brain as well. TFTC

I've walked past a few times without camera and/or GPSs but finally managed it today. I like the sculpture although I bet that, with the discreet plaque, few passers by know what it's about so thanks for pointing it out. Before parking rule changes I used to walk past the blue plaque at Dirac's house in Cotham every day on the way to work.

Thanks.

For me, this was clearly tbe best of the three Bristol City Centre virtuals.

An interesting sculpture, and a focus on a name that maybe isn't as well known as it should be.

Photo to follow when I get home, but the Oregon will be even smaller than in other snaps - you will have to take it on trust that the pixel next to my rucksack is the GPSr:).

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy
