I had originally taken my picture at this virtual about 6 years ago, but lost the information and never posted my log.

Today I was back in the area so headed straight here to get the required information.

My second virtual opencache and the only other hide in Bristol showing on OC.uk

I have always enjoyed a visit to the markets around here and there seems to be a lot of momentum in the area at the moment. TFTVC and non spoiler photo attached

I'm down in Bristol for work for a couple of days, which gave me some time to enjoy several city centre caches including the three opencaching virtuals. The theme and info at this location were really interesting, so thanks for bringing me here. I found some great food in the adjoining market, too. Thanks for the cache.

Found today. Very interesting - it's very easy to miss these historical details of our surroundings!

Temporary note to keep TBs on track

Hvala za zakladek! / Thank you for the cache!

I arrived for a quick tour of UK before Brexit (and after, but then it was postponed ...), landing at Luton airport late at night, then visiting London, Glasgow, Isle of Man, exploring two opposite corners of Wales and a few places in England before returning to London and flying out from Stansted.

Found this on my way too the station. A familiar location for me - I don't know why I haven't logged it before! Anyway, I visited after the rush hour, and the area was pretty quiet, no problems finding what I needed. T4tC, JRI.

4/4 Virtuals in Bristol on this unexpected stopover between flights.

Many thanks to the CO and of course the various organisations that provided the subjects of all the caches.

Like the previous finder I had passed this location many times before, but had never noticed the clock. The information about this was very interesting. My first find on Opencaching TFTC

I've been here many times before, but never noticed the clock! Fascinating! I'll point it out to my colleagues next time I get the chance and they'll think I'm amazing!

Interesting history. My first open cache. I have a photo but can't figure out how to iPad it!

3119 2015-07-16 14:15 Stefo and Swash (user activity10) - Found it

Our 3rd Opencache.

We were in the area for a geocaching Event, and also looking for some Shauns, so decided to try for a couple more Opencaches.

I left Swash to finish her picnic lunch in Castle Park and strolled across to Corn Street, where the necessary information was quickly found.

I'm not very good at taking selfies, but hopefully the attached photo manages to show me at one of the nails.

Forced into town again so decided was time to finally grab this cache. Fortunately arrived at the same time as a guided tour so I got a bit of an additional history of the place. Had to take photo with of my caching buddy today. TFTC

This was a risky find as I rushed for the last train. I hadn't ever paid attention to the bronze fixtures. I took a photo of one that had been temporarily decorated by a passer-by. I hope the quality is good enough. Thanks for our tenth opencache- I think we can recommend caches now.

3rd cache today and my 3rd OpenCaching cache - gosh, it's a while since I've done a virtual cache - not quite such fun with no box to find though Frown.

I know of the site, the Nails and the time difference but I didn't know there was a clock here with 2 x second hands, thanks for showig me something. That said, at the mo' the clock only has only ONE second hand (see photo) - perhaps the other is off for repair! Undecided

I couldn'y follow instructions and photograph my my GPSr with the nails as mine is also my camera. I therefore took a picture of The Beast, my caching buddy, so I hope this counts. TFTC

Walked here after doing the Castle park cache. It is raining even harder now, so you can imagine the looks I got when I took a photo of Bikkie Bear with the GPS infront of the required object.

How interesting, and how strange to look at a clock with 3 "fixed" hands. Not too busy when we were there. Thanks for setting this one, wouldn't have come here otherwise, TFTC.

Interesting to see the clock, but I guess Saturday morning is a bad time to do this cache:(. There was a busy market going on outside, and a lot of activity inside. I kept getting bumped and knocked when trying to read the information, and getting a photo of a 'nail' was difficult - all but one had become a part of market stalls!

Logging this from my phone, the photo will have to wait until I get home, but believe me, it's not worth waiting for:).

In the end I was quite relieved to get away from the area, it was so busy - shame, maybe another day would have been better.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

BTW, I made it 4 'nails'.
