I think this is my first virtual opencache. I was a student in Bristol about 20 years ago but I never visited this museum. It looks as though my visit will have to wait a little longer given the museum was shut when I visited. TFTC

I was out and about picking up a variety of caches in Bristol and stopped by to get this one.

I recorded the first part of the information (although I don't know what it is). I then took the required picture

I'm down in Bristol for work for a couple of days, which gave me some time to enjoy several city centre caches including the three opencaching virtuals. This formed part of my evening walk from the hotel to find somewhere to eat, and revisit some old haunts along the way. A nice easy find, and just after I'd taken my selfie in the dark, a man tried to pass me on the pavement. I stepped back against the door to get more out of his way, only to discover that he was trying to unlock and go in through the door... oops. Thanks for the cache.

I arrived in town early to meet up with my friends and thought I could kill time by finding a cache. I've been past the Red Lodge many a time, but never been in. There again, although one of the rooms was lit, the museum isn't open again until April, so I won't get the chance for a while. Instead, after trying to peer over the back wall for a look at the building, I attempted to take the required selfie; and after three attempts managed to get a photo that didn't look as though I was demonically possessed! A nice straightforward cache. I'll have to come back here another time when it's open.

Second of the virtuals I found today. The building sounds interesting and I would of taken a look in, had it been open. Thank you for highlighting it.

We had to go into town to collect some theatre tickets, so decided to try for a couple more opencaches as well.

We were able to park nearby and soon found the necessary information and took the required photograph.

I think I last looked inside Red Lodge about 40 years ago....perhaps we should re-visit somtime soon.

Apologies for the late log. I thought I'd sent one from my new phone but obviously i've not cracked c:geo yet.

We were in town for a Dara O'Briain gig at the Hippodrome and parked in the multi storey next door before heading off for a reminisce as we were both students here. The gig was excellent and after we headed up to the cache as we knew the ticket machines up top would be much quieter. The required info was each to gather. I've clocked this place many times, but never been in. I'm sure i will one day....

Thanks very much for the cache.

Managed to get a couple of open caches after dropping son back to Bristol Uni before having to leave to avoid getting caught in traffic. Would have liked to have been able to go inside, perhaps another time. TFTC

A bit less crowded than the last cache, which was a relief to me:). Logging from my phone so will upload the photo later. My GPSr is likely to be an insignificant dot beside the door, but I will ensure I do upload it as I nearly got run over taking it:).

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy
