A wonderful walk, in from Westmoorgate, heading for a wide circuit of this quite North East portion of the moor.

This was the first OC of the day, and the first checkpoint for our planned 20 letterbox, OC and GS cache day on the moor. The cache is in excellent condition.. Found one half of the famous caching gloves.. the other half would turn up later in the day.. thanks for placing this cache.

A great cache in a great location. Surprisingly good condition considering the time since the last find. Almost like new. Not too sore about caching gloves (from prev log) more like caching glove.
Was off to Elephant Rock, but my GPS started palying up losing satellite sgnal, so headed off to do what I really came to do before heading back home.

The walk across and up from Rock Bottom was starting to take its toll on my hips and knees. When I was up Brown Willy I was in two minds whether I could do Rough Tor as well but I was glad I decided against it now. I was glad to reach this one and have a sit down and a sandwich before the final climb up the hill to Elephant Rock.
Fantastic views from here and a great place to have had my lunch,
